La Fortuna, one of Leganés' neighbourhoods best connected to central Madrid by metro, has its own weekly market every Monday on Calle San Pedro. It's a medium-sized neighbourhood market serving this densely populated residential area, with food, clothing and footwear stalls at popular prices. Being on a Monday, it doesn't compete with the larger markets in central Leganés, held on other days of the week. Usual hours: 9:00 to 14:00.
