Getafe, one of the major municipalities south of the Madrid metropolitan area, holds its weekly market on Saturdays at its Recinto Ferial fairground. It's a sizeable market thanks to the space available, with a wide variety of food, clothing, footwear and general-goods stalls that also draws residents from neighbouring towns like Leganés and Fuenlabrada. Hours: 9:00 to 14:00.
